2026-10-05 — site: MCP page overhaul

The MCP page is rebuilt around three checks: evidence, intended order and strategy. New recorded demonstration fixtures, a data-flow table, a rate card and credit estimator, a full tool catalog with per-tool boundaries and schemas, and hosted and local connection guides. Catalog, pricing and version facts are now generated from a single source at build time, with machine-readable copies at /mcp/service.json, /mcp/tools.json and /mcp/pricing.json.

2026-10-04 — 0.5.0 (PIT significance, explained)

New pit.analysis tool: ask about any underlying and every (dataset|metric|horizon) family comes back with its rolling IR, Newey-West p-value, observation count and an explicit verdict — SIGNIFICANT, NOT_SIGNIFICANT, NOT_JUDGED or UNVERIFIED — under the funnel's release-gated L1 gate. The 0.5.0 methodology adds size/sector neutralization, overlap-corrected inference, scale-free accounting variants, staleness caps and a shuffled-date placebo, so verdicts stay defensible; v1 stores are refused rather than reused. Free plans get a lite answer; Pro unlocks 10 symbols, every family and historical as_of. The site also gains a live coverage board of the point-in-time datasets and a community form for suggesting new metrics.

2026-09-03 — swarm: forward league and move decomposition

  • Forward league. League genomes seal hash-committed positions for the coming week every Sunday; the next cycle settles them against realised closes, ranks the field on the identical real week and updates ELO on real outcomes. A planner entrant (weekend moves from a learned model) competes on the same terms. Opened 2026-09-02; first settlements mid-September.
  • Moves, not rules. Every simulated and settled position is recorded as component moves (screen, entry, size, weekend) with decision-time state; credit is assigned per move and regime. The proposer now recombines whole move groups from the highest-ELO rival as well as mutating values.
  • Real tape. The swarm's daily-bar panel was backfilled to three years across 52 symbols and the weekly cycle now measures tape depth and coverage from the panel instead of pinned values.
  • Eight-week data-collection run in progress; no strategy-logic changes until it completes.

2026-09-02 — 0.4.0 (Shadow Tournament, compute metering)

  • Shadow Tournament. New tournament.submit, tournament.verdict and tournament.leaderboard (free) tools. A submitted genome is replayed against the swarm's live champion on identical hosted paths — 5 regimes × 4 per regime × 5 seeds, 100 paired episodes — and returns a paired outcome, statistics and an ELO rating. Never a promotion.
  • Contributor licence. contribute=true licenses the genome vector and outcome to the swarm's evolution loop as an external challenger and halves the price (100 credits vs 200). Without it the vector is deleted once scored. Terms updated.
  • Hosted compute is now metered. Published credit rate card: 1 credit per relay call, 1 per hosted single-shot Pro tool, 1 per simulated gym episode on the hosted endpoint, 200/100 per tournament. The hosted endpoint charges /api/mcp/meter before running and refuses when the meter refuses. Local stdio execution remains unmetered.
  • Entitlement fix. A Pro token whose credit pool is empty or expired now verifies as exhausted / expired with the free feature set; previously such a token kept Pro tools on the hosted endpoint indefinitely.
  • Pack copy now says credits, not relay calls: prices unchanged (10k / £19, 100k / £149, 90 days).
  • Copy corrections: the tool catalog lists the Pro derived tools and the tournament tools; the hosted endpoint serves all three servers; the relay does hold provider credentials server-side (the tools never do).

2026-09-01 — 0.2.0 (credit packs)

  • Pro is now credit-based: one-time packs (10k / £19 and 100k / £149 relay calls, 90-day validity). No subscription, no auto-renewal, no unlimited plan.
  • Server-side enforcement: monthly quota for free (250 calls, 10 symbols), credit metering for pro (50 symbols), durable 60/60s burst limit, enriched /verify with plan/status/features/quota.
  • Retired get_bars/enrich_symbol as public tools; the public surface is derived-only.
  • Tool metadata: parameter descriptions, output schemas, and annotations on every tool; server description/homepage/icon for Smithery.
  • New /mcp/ product page with self-serve signup and credit-pack checkout.

2026-09-01 — 0.1.0 (initial public release)

  • Three stdio MCP servers + hosted streamable-HTTP endpoint; token issuance funnel; derived-only market.pulse / market.sentiment; open-source client (wrapper MIT, guardrails subset source-available).
